To promote Orient-Express Trains and Cruises to their target market, in an effective and engaging way, across all markets in different language editions. Reflect the core values of their products—exclusivity, luxury, glamour, heritage, adventure and the sheer pleasure of travel. Drive direct sales. Improve retention rate of current customers, generate new ones and cross-sell products.
Solution
Drawing on our knowledge of Orient-Express as a long-standing client, ILN proposed one core brochure covering all products, with tailored creative and editorial approaches for the UK, US, French and German editions to enable the brand to present itself in very different environments and sales situations around the world.
To ensure the best quality, the 90,000 brochures were printed sheet-fed. ILN sourced an uncoated FSC paper stock that reflected the balance between quality and economy across such a large sheet-fed project.
The brochure was printed using high-definition technology to give a sharpness and clarity that jumped off the page.
Results
The end result was well received by the client. As well as being "on-brand", the brochure delivered healthy customer retention and created new customers and enquiries.
