Lisa Barnard - Chief Executive
Lisa’s background is in the luxury and drinks business, including Moët-Hennessy in London and wine and spirits trade bible Harper's Bazaar. Lisa joined ILN after 14 years in publishing, marketing and PR, and has been at the helm for 10 years. In 2007, she headed up the buyout of ILN and is majority shareholder in the business. Lisa has also been trying to build up a wine cellar over the years, but finds that demand has been exceeding supply in her north London household.
Garrett Dearey - Agency and Digital Director
Garrett has worked internationally as editor on a series of publications for the IT industry in the Middle East. Returning to London, he took up a publications position with the London-based marketing group Metia on their Wall Street Systems, Reuters and Microsoft accounts. He then moved to T-Mobile International, creating and implementing the online strategy for the company’s 3G and mobile data propositions. After five years, Garrett accepted a role as associate director with Positive Digital where he developed the business into one of the top-20 integrated agencies in the UK. Garrett joined ILN in 2010 and heads the digital team.
In his spare time, when not clearing up the trail of destruction left by his two young sons, Garrett loses golf balls on the courses of Surrey.
Nathan Eaton-Baudains - Group Account Director
Nathan has a background in print and production management and has been with ILN for over 10 years. He joined the production department in 2000 as production executive and has progressed to become production manager and recently assumed the role of account director for our print clients.
Nathan also recently performed “I’ve got a Hive Full of Honey” from Calamity Jane, in drag, as a surprise for a friend’s 40th. He is considering the offer of a regular Saturday night slot at the local rugby club.
Roger Gallucci - Finance Director
Roger has over 17 years' experience in finance in the advertising, media planning and buying sectors. He has looked after the numbers for some of the biggest names in advertising including Saatchi & Saatchi, Wieden+Kennedy and
Ogilvy & Mather and worked closely with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Nike, Diageo and Nokia. He joined ILN in 2008 and has made his mark as a commercially astute FD with a keen eye for numbers.
Linda Elander - Art Director (Print)
Linda's career in the magazine industry was launched when she was given her dream opportunity to assist on The Face magazine, and she's not looked back since. She started working as a freelance designer for Condé Nast publications on titles such as GQ and Vogue. She then joined News International, working there for eight years as deputy art director on The Sunday Times Magazine. In 2007, Linda returned to freelancing as an art director, working for various clients including John Brown Media, Icon magazine, The Sunday Times Style, Vogue and Condé Nast Traveller.
She returned to her native Sweden to be guest art director of Forum AID, a Swedish architecture, interiors and design magazine, before joining ILN in 2009. Linda also teaches yoga, which helps to explain her unflappable demeanour.
