ILN has worked with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars since 2004, producing occasional yearbooks for the owners of Phantom and Ghost cars
globally and working on various multichannel content assignments.
In 2010, ILN was commissioned to create a post-purchase customer communications experience to propel brand advocacy, to be launched
in March 2011.

Solution

Rolls-Royce Motorcars is different. Its cars are truly remarkable. Naturally, the way Rolls-Royce communicates with its clients and broader "family" should be extraordinary, even peerless. ILN was tasked with underlining Rolls-Royce as a contemporary brand benefiting from its heritage, but forward-looking and conveying these sentiments to customers globally.

Our vision was to create a publication for owners that would suitably represent their status as members of the most exclusive "club" in the world. This rich, beautifully crafted and highly visual book exemplifies Rolls-Royce brand values throughout, reflecting the calibre of craftsmanship and engineering associated with the cars. It is, in essence, a celebration of the legend and modernity that defines
Roll-Royce Motor Cars in the 21st century. Through its editorial and creative strategy, the book signals that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a brand of legends, of 21st-century legends, recounting contemporary stories
in an individual and modern way.

Results

The book is an opportunity to unite all owners through a bold statement that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a visionary, progressive brand with its sights trained firmly on the future. Owners feel valued, rewarded and inspired and the narrative content and intelligent art direction helps build an identity for this prestigious international community of Rolls-Royce cars. Previous Yearbooks have elicited a stream of appreciative letters from Rolls-Royce owners around the world to the company's chief executive, many requesting to take part in future editions.
